Down a few delicious dogs from Miller's Dog n Suds! - Follow that with several slices of scrumptious pizza from Halftime Bar and Grill! It's time to take your palatte on a pleasure cruise!

Whether you're a Deck Hand or a Guest of Honor donor, it really doesn't matter. All of our Distinguished Donors are equally appreciated! Not only do you stand up for a good cause, you stand out among us because you haven given from the heart, in addition to being a caring soul. It means a lot to us that you believe in and support our sailing school. We also thank you from the heart!

At the Community Sailing School @ Pistakee, we believe that access to the water should not be limited by income, ability, or background - it should be an opportunity available to everyone.
Every season, we see lives change. A child steps into a boat unsure of themselves and leaves with confidence. A teenager discovers leadership. An adult finds a new sense of independence. A veteran finds comfort and care. And for individuals with disabilities, especially those who are visually or hearing impaired, or physically challenged, the experience of sailing can be truly transformative. But these opportunities don’t happen by accident. They require intentional investment!
Today, demand for our programs is growing. More families are seeking meaningful outdoor experiences. More individuals need accessible and adaptive recreation. And more young people are looking for places where they can build real-world skills, not just participate, but also lead. Your support allows us to meet that need.
By joining our Distinguished Donor Club you:
  • Support our sailing program open to all ages and backgrounds
  • Provide scholarships so no one is turned away
  • Expand adaptive sailing programs for individuals with disabilities
  • Train and develop the next generation of instructors and leaders
  • Maintain safe, high-quality equipment and facilities
  • Build long-term sustainability through stable, predictable funding
This is not just about sailing - it’s about confidence, independence, and opportunity. When you invest in the Community Sailing School @ Pistakee, you are not just supporting a program - you are opening doors for individuals across McHenry County and the entire Chain O'Lakes region to discover what they are capable of.
We invite you to be part of that impact. Because when someone takes the helm for the first time, they don’t just learn to sail - they begin to see what’s possible! Thank you for your donation. It will benefit a multitude of people in many different ways.
