The Community Sailing School at Pistakee is very proud of its staff, students and volunteers. The 2022 Awards Ceremony was held on December 30, 2022 at Board Chairman Tom Kartheiser's home. All staff were recognized and honored for their dedication, hard work and endless enthusiasm. They deserve many accolades for having provided an educational, exciting and rewarding sailing experience to over 140 students. Several of their students were also recognized at the Award Ceremony for their accomplishments during the summer season. Categories included Skipper of the Year, Best Crew of the Year, Most Improved Sailor in the Beginner and the Advanced Sailing Camps, Most Inspirational Sailor, Captain Wet Pants, Most Improved Adult Sailor, Most Inspired Adult Sailor, the Cortney Kingsley Gold Award, and the Board Chairman's Award for being the quintessential volunteer. We sincerely thank our staff and congratulate all of our award recipients for their accomplishments!
