If sailing is your thing, we ask that you consider volunteering as an Instructor Assistant. What a great way to spend your summer! Simply email us. Thanks!
We encourage all prospective job applicants to be familiar with our employment criteria. All instructors are required to be CPR certified and have completed the US Sailing SafeSport Training and have passed a NASBLA-approved Safe Boating course prior to the start of the summer season. It is also recommended that the instructor has passed the US Sailing Level 1 Small Boat Instructor certification, or is willing to pursue certification. Our sailing school offers a two-week Instructor Training Course that will also suffice for those individuals who do not possess the US Sailing Level 1 certification. Below are links to several resources that you might find helpful. Please note, we are very supportive of our instructors. We try our best to help you grow as an instructor.
